GALA OPENING OF LOUVRE BUILDING, PART OF THE MAYFIELD GALLERIES PROJECT IN PRAGUE'S RADLICE NEIGHBORHOOD22.7.2008 It is Tuesday 22nd July 2008 and there has been a strong shower over Prague just now. Aside from beautifully fresh air and moisture the shower has also brought a gala atmosphere to the new LOUVRE building. The LOUVRE building is part of the Mayfield Gallery project in Prague's Radlice neighborhood. The whole project consists of three buildings. LOUVRE is the first of them. Its first leaseholder, LUKOIL company, will move there in September. The building got the final approval on 21st July and immediately after that - on 22nd July - Lenka Šišuláková, Mayfield developer’s managing director, cut the tape together with the representative of Heberger construction company. New Prague LOUVRE will offer more than 4500 m2 rentable space, which includes type A offices, coffee bar, enough underground parking space and roof terrace. The building also has openable windows, customizable air-conditioning, structured cabling or central reception. The project of the building was made by Chapman Taylolr company. The height and the cladding of the building respect its green surroundings. The name Louvre also suggests that there should be some art in the building. The first sign of that were the black and white pictures of the building. They were created by Radovan Šubín, who co-incidentally took them on one July morning just before a storm. As one can see, this summer is full of storms so we wish the new and beautiful LOUVRE building that they bring it many fully satisfied leaseholders. backproject card: Mayfield Galleries - Louvre |
